Meet Morgan. She's a pal of mine, and she so graciously volunteered her services to me today as an assistant on a shoot. What we were shooting, you ask? Engagement portraits, of course! I'll post those later. In the meantime I'll explain what Morgan's holding. Recently I went out and invested in a very important piece of lighting equipment, and it was only... wait for it... $2.71 at Hobby Lobby. It's used as a fill card. One side is black, and one side is white to subtract/add light on location. Morgan used it to block sun from my subjects' eyes and alter shadows/highlights on their faces. It came in handy during difficult lighting situations, and it's probably the cheapest piece of camera equipment I'll ever buy. Also, aren't Morgan's shoes cute?
