Pieces from the Pentax

























First: A mural I came across while driving downtown.
Second: A bowl of sugar (7 cups to be exact) that I used in making strawberry jam today.
Third: The neighbors' house.

The strawberry jam is still cooling off from earlier today, but I'm very excited to try it on toast later tonight! If you've never had homemade jam, you're missing out. It's not entirely difficult to make, though I'm glad my grandpa was right there with step-by-step instructions. My first time making it was today, and I must say that boiling fruit can be a little scary. However, the jam is setting up and was never even close to burning, so I'm anticipating that it's going to turn out just fine!

Next week I'm making blueberry jam!
